Ayahuasca is sonic alchemy from Brazilian born artist Poranguí McGrew. Blending field recordings from the Amazon rainforest with native instruments from around the world, the music builds a bridge to the consciousness of the master plant medicine.
Each track can be traveled singularly or woven together to take you on a seamless journey to the deepest parts of your psyche.
Whether you are listening for relaxation, stress relief, meditation, ceremony, or to help with focus while you work on a project, the music is like tropical rain for your ears.
What is Ayahuasca?
Ayahuasca is a powerful psychedelic Amazonian brew, traditionally made from the B. caapi vine and admixtures such as P. viridis (and other MAOI and DMT-containing plants).
Who is it for?
Ayahuasca is for those who feel internally called to its ceremony, even if it takes awhile to partake. Ideally, Ayahuasca is for those informed about its medicinal dynamic, purposes, benefits, risks, and protocols; and for those who participate grounded in their own intention, devotion, and gratitude.
What does it do?
Ayahuasca expands your consciousness beyond your five-sensory default reality so you can experience more. This transcendental entheogenic medicine opens doors to the truths about past, present, & future, and self, other, & life stories that encase suffering and long periods of confusion, which enables deep healing, clarity, and the beginning of a new transformation. Ayahuasca is considered a purgative so things like sweating, crying, emotional release, vomiting, and diarrhea are common.
Where can I get it?
Talk to people you know and trust, and do your due diligence. There are many centers and facilitators around the world, and a good number of them have little training. Historically and in the best current practice, the medicine is used in experienced, well-kept, shamanistic ceremonial circles only, as this medicine requires the protection of its well trained practitioners, lineage holders and experienced sitters. Spiritually, mentally, emotionally, it is not safe to do alone. Set your search on the right set and setting with trustworthy practitioners and pure medicine.

Mitch Schultz, director of DMT: The Spirit Molecule, invites you to join this 45 minute excursion deep into the heart of the Peruvian rainforest to experience the magic of the 3000 year old plant medicine: Huachuma. Distilled in the lost tradition from the San Pedro cactus by the last master Huachumero, Huachuma was the sacrament that formed the foundation for pre-Incan civilization, the Chavin. Follow Aubrey Marcus (founder of Onnit) and a group of friends in this moving meditation that reveals the true transformative power of this sacred technology.

Special thanks to Marija of Not This Body for making this vision come to life, Cory Allen for help with sound, to Jason Silva for inspiring the genre, and to all the teachers, shamans, and the spirit of the very plants themselves that have guided me along this path.
